5:14 The priests could not carry out their duties ¹  because of the cloud; the Lord’s splendor filled God’s temple.

2 Tawarikh 22:3

22:3 He followed in the footsteps of Ahab’s dynasty, ²  for his mother gave him evil advice. ³ 

[5:14]  ¹ tn Heb “were not able to stand to serve.”

[22:3]  ² tn Heb “and also he walked in the ways of the house of Ahab.”

[22:3]  ³ tn Heb “for his mother was his adviser to do evil.”
