Konteks6:27 then listen from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Certainly 1 you will then teach them the right way to live 2 and send rain on your land that you have given your people to possess. 3

Konteks7:3 When all the Israelites saw the fire come down and the Lord’s splendor over the temple, they got on their knees with their faces downward toward the pavement. They worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, 4 “Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!”
[6:27] 1 tn The present translation understands כִּי (ki) in an emphatic or asseverative sense (“Certainly”). Other translation have “indeed” (NASB), “when” (NRSV), “so” (NEB), or leave the word untranslated (NIV).
