6:28 “The time will come when the land suffers from a famine, a plague, blight, and disease, or a locust ¹  invasion, or when their enemy lays siege to the cities of the land, ²  or when some other type of plague or epidemic occurs.

Confidently carry out your duties! ¹⁹  May the Lord be with those who do well!”

21:19 After about two years his intestines came out because of the disease, so that he died a very painful death. ²⁰  His people did not make a bonfire to honor him, as they had done for his ancestors. ²¹

26:11 Uzziah had an army of skilled warriors trained for battle. They were organized by divisions according to the muster rolls made by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer under the authority of Hananiah, a royal official.

31:2 Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and Levites to do their assigned tasks ²⁶  – to offer burnt sacrifices and present offerings and to serve, give thanks, and offer praise in the gates of the Lord’s sanctuary. ²⁷

34:4 He ordered the altars of the Baals to be torn down, ²⁸  and broke the incense altars that were above them. He smashed the Asherah poles, idols and images, crushed them up and sprinkled the dust over the tombs of those who had sacrificed to them.

35:24 So his servants took him out of the chariot, put him in another chariot that he owned, and brought him to Jerusalem, ²⁹  where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his ancestors; ³⁰  all the people of Judah and Jerusalem mourned Josiah.
