Ayub 41:12

41:12 I will not keep silent about its limbs,

and the extent of its might,

and the grace of its arrangement. ¹ 

Yesaya 1:31

1:31 The powerful will be like ²  a thread of yarn,

their deeds like a spark;

both will burn together,

and no one will put out the fire.

Yesaya 31:9

31:9 They will surrender their stronghold ³  because of fear; ⁴ 

their officers will be afraid of the Lord’s battle flag.” ⁵

the one whose fire is in Zion,

whose firepot is in Jerusalem. ⁶ 

Zakharia 2:5

2:5 But I (the Lord says) will be a wall of fire surrounding Jerusalem ⁷  and the source of glory in her midst.’”

[41:12]  ¹ tn Dhorme changes the noun into a verb, “I will tell,” and the last two words into אֵין עֶרֶךְ (’en ’erekh, “there is no comparison”). The result is “I will tell of his incomparable might.”
