28:1 “If you indeed ¹  obey the Lord your God and are careful to observe all his commandments I am giving ²  you today, the Lord your God will elevate you above all the nations of the earth.

Yesaya 28:19

28:19 Whenever it sweeps by, it will overtake you;

indeed, ⁴  every morning it will sweep by,

it will come through during the day and the night.” ⁵ 

When this announcement is understood,

it will cause nothing but terror.
