[29:2]  1 sn This will be for the minkhah (מִנְחָה) offering (Lev 2), which was to accompany the animal sacrifices.

[29:2]  2 tn Or “anointed” (KJV, ASV).

[29:2]  3 tn The “fine flour” is here an adverbial accusative, explaining the material from which these items were made. Fine flour, no leaven, and perfect animals, without blemishes, were to be gathered for this service.

[1:9]  5 tn Heb “house.” So also in vv. 13, 14, 16.

[1:9]  6 tn Heb “grain offering and drink offering are cut off from the house of the Lord,”

[2:14]  7 tn Heb “turn” or “turn back.”

[2:14]  8 tn Heb “leave a blessing behind him.”

[2:14]  9 tn The phrase “for you to offer” does not appear in the Hebrew, but is supplied in the translation for the sake of clarity.
