Konteks43:30 Joseph hurried out, for he was overcome by affection for his brother 1 and was at the point of tears. 2 So he went to his room and wept there.
43:31 Then he washed his face and came out. With composure he said, 3 “Set out the food.”

[43:31] 3 tn Heb “and he controlled himself and said.”
[45:1] 4 tn Heb “all the ones standing beside him.”
[45:2] 6 tn Heb “and he gave his voice in weeping,” meaning that Joseph could not restrain himself and wept out loud.
[45:2] 7 tn Heb “and the Egyptians heard and the household of Pharaoh heard.” Presumably in the latter case this was by means of a report.
[7:9] 8 tn Heb “Do not be hasty in your spirit to become angry.”
