[Hos 1:10] Numberless As The Sands
When we gather at last over Jordan,
And the ransomed in glory we see,
As the numberless sands of the seashore—
What a wonderful sight that will be!Refrain
Numberless as the sands of the seashore!
Numberless as the sands of the shore!
Oh, what a sight ’twill be,
When the ransomed host we see,
As numberless as the sands of the seashore!When we see all the saved of the ages,
Who from sorrow and trials are free,
Meeting there with a heavenly greeting—
What a wonderful sight that will be!Refrain
When we stand by the beautiful river,
’Neath the shade of the life giving tree,
Gazing over the fair land of promise—
What a wonderful sight that will be!Refrain
When at last we behold our Redeemer,
And His glory transcendent we see,
While as King of all kingdoms He reigneth—
What a wonderful sight that will be!Refrain

[Hos 6:2] Kindly Spring Again Is Here
Kindly spring again is here,
Trees and fields in bloom appear;
Hark! the birds with artless lays
Warble their Creator’s praise.Where in winter all was snow,
Now the flowers in clusters grow;
And the corn, in green array,
Promises a harvest-day.Lord, afford a spring to me,
Let me feel like what I see;
Speak, and by Thy gracious voice,
Make my drooping soul rejoice.On Thy garden deign to smile,
Raise the plants, enrich the soil;
Soon Thy presence will restore
Life to what seemed dead before.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Hos 6:3] Follow On
Down in the valley with my Savior I would go,
Where the flowers are blooming and the sweet waters flow;
Everywhere He leads me I would follow, follow on,
Walking in His footsteps till the crown be won.Refrain
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Anywhere, everywhere, I would follow on!
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Everywhere He leads me I would follow on!Down in the valley with my Savior I would go,
Where the storms are sweeping and the dark waters flow;
With His hand to lead me I will never, never fear,
Danger cannot fright me if my Lord is near.Refrain
Down in the valley, or upon the mountain steep,
Close beside my Savior would my soul ever keep;
He will lead me safely in the path that He has trod,
Up to where they gather on the hills of God.Refrain

[Hos 14:9] Oh, It Is Hard To Work For God
Oh, it is hard to work for God,
To rise and take His part
Upon this battlefield of earth,
And not sometimes lose heart!He hides Himself so wondrously,
As though there were no God;
He is least seen when all the pow’rs
Of ill are most abroad.Ah, God is other than we think,
His ways are far above,
Far beyond reason’s height, and reached
Only by childlike love.Workman of God! O lose not heart,
But learn what God is like,
And in the darkest battlefield
Thou shalt know where to strike.Then learn to scorn the praise of men,
And learn to lose with God;
For Jesus won the world through shame,
And beckons thee His road.For right is right, as God is God,
And right the day must win;
To doubt would be disloyalty,
To falter were to sin.Play source: Cyberhymnal
