Ibrani 1:10

1:10 And,

“You founded the earth in the beginning, Lord, ¹ 

and the heavens are the works of your hands.

10:27 but only a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a fury ³  of fire that will consume God’s enemies. ⁴

13:13 We must go out to him, then, outside the camp, bearing the abuse he experienced. ⁵ 

[1:10]  ¹ sn You founded the earth…your years will never run out. In its original setting Ps 102:25-27 refers to the work of God in creation, but here in Hebrews 1:10-12 the writer employs it in reference to Christ, the Lord, making a strong argument for the essential deity of the Son.

[3:11]  ² tn Grk “if they shall enter my rest,” a Hebrew idiom expressing an oath that something will certainly not happen.
