2:4 while God confirmed their witness ¹  with signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed ²  according to his will.

Ibrani 5:14

5:14 But solid food is for the mature, whose perceptions are trained by practice to discern both good and evil.

Ibrani 9:6

9:6 So with these things prepared like this, the priests enter continually into the outer tent ³  as they perform their duties.

Ibrani 12:18

12:18 For you have not come to something that can be touched, ⁴  to a burning fire and darkness and gloom and a whirlwind

[2:4]  ² tn Grk “and distributions of the Holy Spirit.”

[9:6]  ³ tn Grk “the first tent.”

[12:18]  ⁴ tn This describes the nation of Israel approaching God on Mt. Sinai (Exod 19). There is a clear contrast with the reference to Mount Zion in v. 22, so this could be translated “a mountain that can be touched.” But the word “mountain” does not occur here and the more vague description seems to be deliberate.
