[17:12]  1 tn Heb “all/any person from you shall not eat blood.”

[17:12]  2 tn Heb “and the sojourner, the one sojourning in your midst, shall not eat blood.”

[18:26]  3 tn Heb “And you shall keep, you.” The latter emphatic personal pronoun “you” is left out of a few medieval Hebrew mss, Smr, the LXX, Syriac, and Vulgate.

[18:26]  4 tn Heb “the native and the sojourner”; NIV “The native-born and the aliens”; NAB “whether natives or resident aliens.”

[26:22]  5 tn Heb “the animal of the field.” This collective singular has been translated as a plural. The expression “animal of the field” refers to a wild (i.e., nondomesticated) animal.

[26:22]  6 tn The words “of your children” are not in the Hebrew text, but are implied.

[26:22]  7 tn Heb “and diminish you.”
