19:30 “‘You must keep my Sabbaths and fear my sanctuary. I am the Lord.

Imamat 22:28

22:28 You must not slaughter an ox or a sheep and its young ¹  on the same day. ² 

Imamat 23:25

23:25 You must not do any regular work, but ³  you must present a gift to the Lord.’”

[22:28]  ¹ tn Heb “And an ox or a sheep, it and its son, you shall not slaughter.”

[22:28]  ² tn Heb “in one day.”

[23:25]  ³ tn Heb “and.” The Hebrew conjunction ו (vav, “and”) can be considered to have adversative force here (cf. KJV, NASB, NIV).
