Animal from the Flock

3:6 “‘If his offering for a peace offering sacrifice to the Lord is from the flock, he must present a flawless male or female. ¹ 

Imamat 13:44

13:44 he is a diseased man. He is unclean. The priest must surely pronounce him unclean because of his infection on his head. ² 

Imamat 20:15

20:15 If a man has sexual intercourse ³  with any animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal.

Imamat 21:9

21:9 If a daughter of a priest profanes herself by engaging in prostitution, she is profaning her father. She must be burned to death. ⁴ 

Imamat 22:29

22:29 When you sacrifice a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, you must sacrifice it so that it is acceptable for your benefit. ⁵ 

Imamat 27:29

27:29 Any human being who is permanently dedicated ⁶  must not be ransomed; such a person must be put to death.

[3:6]  ¹ tn Heb “a male or female without defect he shall present it”; cf. NLT “must have no physical defects.”

[13:44]  ² tn Or perhaps translate, “His infection [is] on his head,” as a separate independent sentence (cf. KJV, ASV, NASB, NRSV). There is no causal expression in the Hebrew text connecting these two clauses, but the logical relationship between them seems to be causal.
