Kejadian 25:6

25:6 But while he was still alive, Abraham gave gifts to the sons of his concubines ¹  and sent them off to the east, away from his son Isaac. ² 

Hakim-hakim 6:3

6:3 Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, ³  the Midianites, Amalekites, and the people from the east would attack them. ⁴

[25:6]  ² tn Heb “And he sent them away from upon Isaac his son, while he was still living, eastward to the land of the east.”

[6:3]  ³ tn Heb “Whenever Israel sowed seed.”

[6:3]  ⁴ tn Heb “Midian, Amalek, and the sons of the east would go up, they would go up against him.” The translation assumes that וְעָלוּ (vÿ’alu) is dittographic (note the following עָלָיו, ’alayv).
