4:16 So Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and lived in the land of Nod, ¹  east of Eden.

Kejadian 18:9

18:9 Then they asked him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” He replied, “There, ²  in the tent.”

[4:16]  ¹ sn The name Nod means “wandering” in Hebrew (see vv. 12, 14).

[18:9]  ² tn The particle הִנֵּה (hinneh) often accompanies a gesture of pointing or a focused gaze.
