Kejadian 48:13

48:13 Joseph positioned them; ¹  he put Ephraim on his right hand across from Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh on his left hand across from Israel’s right hand. Then Joseph brought them closer to his father. ²

50:2 Joseph instructed the physicians in his service ⁵  to embalm his father, so the physicians embalmed Israel.

It would be useless to make a treaty to live in this territory if he had no rights to the water. Abraham consented to the treaty, but added his rider to it.
