Kejadian 48:21

48:21 Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you ¹  and will bring you back to the land of your fathers.

Ulangan 30:4

30:4 Even if your exiles are in the most distant land, ²  from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.

[48:21]  ¹ tn The pronouns translated “you,” “you,” and “your” in this verse are plural in the Hebrew text.

[30:4]  ² tn Heb “are at the farthest edge of the heavens.” The Hebrew term שָׁמַיִם (shamayim) may be translated “heaven(s)” or “sky” depending on the context.
