Kisah Para Rasul 1:6
Konteks1:6 So when they had gathered together, they began to ask him, 1 “Lord, is this the time when you are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
Kisah Para Rasul 4:29
Konteks4:29 And now, Lord, pay attention to 2 their threats, and grant 3 to your servants 4 to speak your message 5 with great courage, 6
[1:6] 1 tn Grk “they began to ask him, saying.” The participle λέγοντες (legontes) is redundant in contemporary English and has not been translated. The imperfect tense of the Greek verb ἠρώτων (hrwtwn) has been translated as an ingressive imperfect.
[4:29] 2 tn Or “Lord, take notice of.”
[4:29] 3 sn Grant to your servants to speak your message with great courage. The request is not for a stop to persecution or revenge on the opponents, but for boldness (great courage) to carry out the mission of proclaiming the message of what God is doing through Jesus.
[4:29] 4 tn Grk “slaves.” See the note on the word “servants” in 2:18.
