Lukas 1:48

1:48 because he has looked upon the humble state of his servant. ¹

[1:48]  ³ sn From now on is a favorite phrase of Luke’s, showing how God’s acts change things from this point on (5:10; 12:52; 22:18, 69; Acts 18:6).

[14:14]  ⁵ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate that this follows from the preceding action. Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, a new sentence was started here in the translation.

[14:14]  ⁶ sn You will be blessed. God notes and approves of such generosity.
