13:31 At that time, ³  some Pharisees ⁴  came up and said to Jesus, ⁵  “Get away from here, ⁶  because Herod ⁷  wants to kill you.”

[6:13]  ¹ tn Grk “And when.” Here καί (kai) has not been translated because of differences between Greek and English style.

[6:13]  ² sn The term apostles is rare in the gospels, found only in Matt 10:2, possibly in Mark 3:14, and six more times in Luke (here plus 9:10; 11:49; 17:5; 22:14; 24:10).

[13:31]  ³ tn Grk “At that very hour.”

[13:31]  ⁵ tn Grk “him”; the referent (Jesus) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[13:31]  ⁶ tn Grk “Go away and leave from here,” which is redundant in English and has been shortened to “Get away from here.”
