Mazmur 101:5

101:5 I will destroy anyone who slanders his neighbor in secret.

I will not tolerate anyone who has a cocky demeanor and an arrogant attitude. ¹ 

Yesaya 2:12

2:12 Indeed, the Lord who commands armies has planned a day of judgment, ² 

for ³  all the high and mighty,

for all who are proud – they will be humiliated;

[12:16]  ⁴ tn Or “but give yourselves to menial tasks.” The translation depends on whether one takes the adjective “lowly” as masculine or neuter.
