The Greatest Commandment

12:28 Now ¹  one of the experts in the law ²  came and heard them debating. When he saw that Jesus ³  answered them well, he asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”

12:43 He called his disciples and said to them, “I tell you the truth, ⁴  this poor widow has put more into the offering box ⁵  than all the others. ⁶

13:8 For nation will rise up in arms ⁷  against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines. ⁸  These are but the beginning of birth pains.
