4:20 But ¹  these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.”

[9:5]  ³ tn Grk “And answering, Peter said to Jesus.” The participle ἀποκριθείς (apokriqeis) is redundant and has not been translated.

It was actually a way of expressing honor to Jesus, but the next few verses make it clear that it was not enough honor.
