Mazmur 102:15

102:15 The nations will respect the reputation of the Lord, ¹ 

and all the kings of the earth will respect ²  his splendor,

Mazmur 104:14

104:14 He provides grass ³  for the cattle,

and crops for people to cultivate, ⁴ 

so they can produce food from the ground, ⁵ 

Mazmur 143:3

143:3 Certainly ⁶  my enemies ⁷  chase me.

They smash me into the ground. ⁸ 

They force me to live ⁹  in dark regions, ¹⁰ 

like those who have been dead for ages.

[102:15]  ¹ tn Heb “will fear the name of the Lord.” To “fear” God’s name means to have a healthy respect for his revealed reputation which in turn motivates one to obey God’s commands (see Ps 86:11).

[104:14]  ³ tn Heb “causes the grass to sprout up.”
