11:16 Then ¹  the twenty-four elders who are seated on their thrones before God threw themselves down with their faces to the ground ²  and worshiped God

Wahyu 20:4

20:4 Then ³  I saw thrones and seated on them were those who had been given authority to judge. ⁴  I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. These ⁵  had not worshiped the beast or his image and had refused to receive his mark on their forehead or hand. They ⁶  came to life ⁷  and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Matius 19:28

19:28 Jesus ⁸  said to them, “I tell you the truth: ⁹  In the age when all things are renewed, ¹⁰  when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging ¹¹  the twelve tribes of Israel.

Lukas 22:30

22:30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit ¹²  on thrones judging ¹³  the twelve tribes of Israel.

[11:16]  ¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the vision.

[11:16]  ² tn Grk “they fell down on their faces.” BDAG 815 s.v. πίπτω 1.b.α.ב. has “fall down, throw oneself to the ground as a sign of devotion or humility, before high-ranking persons or divine beings.”

[20:4]  ³ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence within the narrative.

[20:4]  ⁴ tn Grk “I saw thrones, and those seated on them, and judgment was given to them.” BDAG 567 s.v. κρίμα 3 says, “judging, judgment, the κρίμα ἐδόθη αὐτοῖς authority to judge was given to them Rv 20:4.”

[22:30]  ¹² tn This verb is future indicative, and thus not subordinate to “grant” (διατίθεμαι, diatiqemai) as part of the result clause beginning with ἵνα ἔσθητε ({ina esqhte) at the beginning of v. 30. It is better understood as a predictive future.
