[2:17]  3 sn The law refers to the Mosaic law, described mainly in the OT books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.

[2:26]  5 tn The Greek word φυλάσσω (fulassw, traditionally translated “keep”) in this context connotes preservation of and devotion to an object as well as obedience.

[6:9]  6 tn Grk “knowing.” Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, a new sentence was started here in the translation.

[6:9]  7 tn The present tense here has been translated as a futuristic present (see ExSyn 536, where this verse is listed as an example).

[7:5]  10 tn Grk “our members”; the words “of our body” have been supplied to clarify the meaning.
