TB NETBible YUN-IBR Ref. Silang Nama Gambar Himne

Ulangan 1:41

Konteks
Unsuccessful Conquest of Canaan

1:41 Then you responded to me and admitted, “We have sinned against the Lord. We will now go up and fight as the Lord our God has told us to do.” So you each put on your battle gear and prepared to go up to the hill country.

Ulangan 3:20

Konteks
3:20 You must fight 1  until the Lord gives your countrymen victory 2  as he did you and they take possession of the land that the Lord your God is giving them on the other side of the Jordan River. Then each of you may return to his own territory that I have given you.”

Ulangan 9:3

Konteks
9:3 Understand today that the Lord your God who goes before you is a devouring fire; he will defeat and subdue them before you. You will dispossess and destroy them quickly just as he 3  has told you.

Ulangan 29:18

Konteks
29:18 Beware that the heart of no man, woman, clan, or tribe among you turns away from the Lord our God today to pursue and serve the gods of those nations; beware that there is among you no root producing poisonous and bitter fruit. 4

[3:20]  1 tn The words “you must fight” are not present in the Hebrew text, but are supplied in the translation for clarity.

[3:20]  2 tn Heb “gives your brothers rest.”

[9:3]  3 tn Heb “the Lord.” The pronoun has been used in the translation in keeping with contemporary English style to avoid redundancy.

[29:18]  4 tn Heb “yielding fruit poisonous and wormwood.” The Hebrew noun לַעֲנָה (laanah) literally means “wormwood” (so KJV, ASV, NAB, NASB), but is used figuratively for anything extremely bitter, thus here “fruit poisonous and bitter.”
