Though the presupposed nounשֵׁכֶן (shekhen) is nowhere else attested, the parallel here with שַׁמָּה (shammah, “there”) favors retaining the MT as it stands.
[2:6] 3 tn The first person pronoun appears before the first person verbal form for emphasis, reflected in the translation by “myself.”
