Ulangan 28:29

28:29 You will feel your way along at noon like the blind person does in darkness and you will not succeed in anything you do; ¹  you will be constantly oppressed and continually robbed, with no one to save you.

Hakim-hakim 2:18

2:18 When the Lord raised up leaders for them, the Lord was with each leader and delivered the people ²  from their enemies while the leader remained alive. The Lord felt sorry for them ³  when they cried out in agony because of what their harsh oppressors did to them. ⁴ 

Yesaya 25:9

25:9 At that time they will say, ⁵ 

“Look, here ⁶  is our God!

We waited for him and he delivered us.
