29:2 Moses proclaimed to all Israel as follows: “You have seen all that the Lord did ¹  in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, all his servants, and his land.

Yosua 24:7

24:7 Your fathers ²  cried out for help to the Lord; he made the area between you and the Egyptians dark, ³  and then drowned them in the sea. ⁴  You witnessed with your very own eyes ⁵  what I did in Egypt. You lived in the wilderness for a long time. ⁶ 

[29:2]  ¹ tn The Hebrew text includes “to your eyes,” but this is redundant in English style (cf. the preceding “you have seen”) and is omitted in the translation.
