Ulangan 4:31

4:31 (for he ¹  is a merciful God), he will not let you down ²  or destroy you, for he cannot ³  forget the covenant with your ancestors that he confirmed by oath to them.

Yosua 24:20

24:20 If ⁴  you abandon the Lord and worship ⁵  foreign gods, he will turn against you; ⁶  he will bring disaster on you and destroy you, ⁷  though he once treated you well.” ⁸
