TB NETBible YUN-IBR Ref. Silang Nama Gambar Himne

Yehezkiel 14:7

Konteks
14:7 For when anyone from the house of Israel, or the foreigner who lives in Israel, separates himself from me and erects his idols in his heart and sets the obstacle leading to his iniquity before his face, and then consults a prophet to seek something from me, I the Lord am determined to answer him personally.

Yehezkiel 18:24

Konteks

18:24 “But if a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and practices wrongdoing according to all the abominable practices the wicked carry out, will he live? All his righteous acts will not be remembered; because of the unfaithful acts he has done and the sin he has committed, he will die. 1

Yehezkiel 20:3

Konteks
20:3 “Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel, and tell them: ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: Are you coming to seek me? As surely as I live, I will not allow you to seek me, 2  declares the sovereign Lord.’

Yehezkiel 20:38-39

Konteks
20:38 I will eliminate from among you the rebels and those who revolt 3  against me. I will bring them out from the land where they have been residing, but they will not come to the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

20:39 “‘As for you, O house of Israel, this is what the sovereign Lord says: Each of you go and serve your idols, 4  if you will not listen to me. 5  But my holy name will not be profaned 6  again by your sacrifices 7  and your idols.

Yehezkiel 23:4

Konteks
23:4 Oholah was the name of the older and Oholibah 8  the name of her younger sister. They became mine, and gave birth to sons and daughters. 9  Oholah is Samaria and Oholibah is Jerusalem.

Yehezkiel 44:9

Konteks
44:9 This is what the sovereign Lord says: No foreigner, who is uncircumcised in heart and flesh among all the foreigners who are among the people of Israel, will enter into my sanctuary. 10

Yehezkiel 44:30

Konteks
44:30 The first of all the first fruits and all contributions of any kind 11  will be for the priests; you will also give to the priest the first portion of your dough, so that a blessing may rest on your house.

Yehezkiel 48:11

Konteks
48:11 This will be for the priests who are set apart from the descendants of Zadok who kept my charge and did not go astray when the people of Israel strayed off, like the Levites did. 12

[18:24]  1 tn Heb “because of them he will die.”

[20:3]  2 tn Or “I will not reveal myself to you.”

[20:38]  3 tn See the note at 2:3.

[20:39]  4 sn Compare the irony here to Amos 4:4 and Jer 44:25.

[20:39]  5 tn Heb “and after, if you will not listen to me.” The translation leaves out “and after” for smoothness. The text is difficult. M. Greenberg (Ezekiel [AB], 1:374) suggests that it may mean “but afterwards, if you will not listen to me…” with an unspoken threat.

[20:39]  6 sn A similar concept may be found in Lev 18:21; 20:3.

[20:39]  7 tn Or “gifts.”

[23:4]  8 tn The names Oholah and Oholibah are both derived from the word meaning “tent.” The meaning of Oholah is “her tent,” while Oholibah means “my tent is in her.”

[23:4]  9 sn In this allegory the Lord is depicted as being the husband of two wives. The OT law prohibited a man from marrying sisters (Lev 18:18), but the practice is attested in the OT (cf. Jacob). The metaphor is utilized here for illustrative purposes and does not mean that the Lord condoned such a practice or bigamy in general.

[44:9]  10 sn Tobiah, an Ammonite (Neh 13:8), was dismissed from the temple.

[44:30]  11 tn Heb has in addition “from your contributions,” a repetition unnecessary in English.

[48:11]  12 tn Heb “strayed off.”
