Yehezkiel 16:26

16:26 You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your sexually aroused neighbors, ¹  multiplying your promiscuity and provoking me to anger.

Yehezkiel 37:8

37:8 As I watched, I saw ²  tendons on them, then muscles appeared, ³  and skin covered over them from above, but there was no breath ⁴  in them.

[16:26]  ¹ tn Heb “your neighbors, large of flesh.” The word “flesh” is used here of the genitals. It may simply refer to the size of their genitals in general, or, as the translation suggests, depicts them as sexually aroused.

[37:8]  ² tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) indicates becoming aware of something and has been translated here as a verb.
