Yehezkiel 44:31

44:31 The priests will not eat any bird or animal that has died a natural death or was torn to pieces by a wild animal. ³ 

[18:10]  ¹ tn Heb “begets.”

[18:10]  ² tn Heb “and he does, a brother, from one of these.” If “brother” is retained, it may be an adverbial accusative, “against a brother” (i.e., fellow Israelite). But the form is likely dittographic (note the אח [aleph-heth] combination in the following form).

[44:31]  ³ tn The words “by a wild animal” are not in the Hebrew text, but have been supplied in the translation as a clarification of the circumstances.
