Yohanes 18:21

18:21 Why do you ask me? Ask those who heard what I said. ¹  They ²  know what I said.”

Yohanes 9:23

9:23 For this reason his parents said, “He is a mature adult, ³  ask him.”) ⁴ 

[18:21]  ¹ tn Grk “Ask those who heard what I said to them.” The words “to them” are not translated since they are redundant in English.

[18:21]  ² tn Grk “Look, these know what I said.”

[9:23]  ³ tn Or “he is of age.”

[9:23]  ⁴ sn This is a parenthetical note by the author explaining the parents’ response.
