[2:8]  2 tn Heb “she”; the referent (Rahab) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[2:8]  3 tn The Hebrew text adds, “to them.” This is somewhat redundant in English and has not been translated.

[4:1]  4 tn Heb “And when all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.”

[21:25]  5 tn The name “Gath Rimmon” is problematic here, for it appears in the preceding list of Danite cities. The LXX reads “Iebatha”; 1 Chr 6:55 HT (6:70 ET) reads “Bileam.” Most modern translations retain the name “Gath Rimmon,” however.

[22:21]  6 tn Heb “answered and spoke to the heads of.”
