Yosua 5:11-12

5:11 They ate some of the produce of the land the day after the Passover, including unleavened bread and roasted grain. ¹  5:12 The manna stopped appearing the day they ate ²  some of the produce of the land; the Israelites never ate manna again. ³ 

Yosua 7:2

7:2 Joshua sent men from Jericho ⁴  to Ai (which is located near Beth Aven, east of Bethel ⁵ ) and instructed them, “Go up and spy on the land.” So the men went up and spied on Ai.

Yosua 9:3

9:3 When the residents of Gibeon heard what Joshua did to Jericho ⁶  and Ai,

Yosua 11:12

11:12 Joshua captured all these royal cities and all their kings and annihilated them with the sword, ⁷  as Moses the Lord’s servant had commanded.

Yosua 11:17

11:17 from Mount Halak on up to Seir, as far as Baal Gad in the Lebanon Valley below Mount Hermon. He captured all their kings and executed them. ⁸ 

[5:11]  ¹ tn The Hebrew text adds, “on this same day.” This is somewhat redundant in English and has not been translated.

[5:12]  ² tn Heb “the day after, when they ate.” The present translation assumes this means the day after the Passover, though it is possible it refers to the day after they began eating the land’s produce.

[5:12]  ³ tn Heb “and the sons of Israel had no more manna.”
