All the prophecies have not yet been fulfilled, notably those that refer to the restoration of the Jews and other far-reaching predictions of the Old Testament prophets. The Messianic prophecies, especially those relating to the coming of the kingdom, are now, commentators hold, in process of fulfilment. The Gospel has not yet been preached to all the nations of the world. There are parts of Central Asia, some parts of China and almost all of Tibet, together with portions of Central Africa, the Sahara tribes and parts of South America, still unevangelized. It is the imperative duty of the church of Christ to hasten this work, which Jesus himself laid down as one of the principal tasks of his followers.
