15:44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

[3:15]  ² tn Grk “come down”; “descend.”

[3:15]  ³ tn Grk “soulish,” which describes life apart from God, characteristic of earthly human life as opposed to what is spiritual. Cf. 1 Cor 2:14; 15:44-46; Jude 19.

[1:19]  ⁴ tn Grk “these are the ones who cause divisions.”

[1:19]  ⁵ tn Or “natural,” that is, living on the level of instincts, not on a spiritual level (the same word occurs in 1 Cor 2:14 as a description of nonbelievers).

[1:19]  ⁶ tn Grk “not having [the] Spirit.”

[1:19]  sn The phrase devoid of the Spirit may well indicate Jude’s and Peter’s assessment of the spiritual status of the false teachers. Those who do not have the Spirit are clearly not saved.
