A Living Stone, a Chosen People

2:4 So as you come to him, ¹  a living stone rejected by men but ²  chosen and priceless ³  in God’s sight,

1 Petrus 3:5

3:5 For in the same way the holy women who hoped in God long ago adorned themselves by being subject to their husbands,

3:10 For

the one who wants to love life and see good days must keep ⁴  his tongue from evil and his lips from uttering deceit.

4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin, starting with the house ¹⁰  of God. And if it starts with us, what will be the fate ¹¹  of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?
